Dissertation is devoted to the research of administrative-legal bases of securing attorney-client privilege in Ukraine. The work conducts retrospective analysis of historical aspect of emerging, formation and development of legislation on attorney-client privilege, differentiates and characterizes six stages in this process, researches the notion and features of attorney-client privilege as an object of administrative-legal regulation, characterizes present state of normative-legal regulation of confidential relationship between the parties of treaty on rendering legal assistance.
