Essay

The thesis is the result of the comprehensive investigation of legal protection of near-Earth space from littering by means of environmental law. The research of essential ties between categories of environment and near-Earth space allowed making conclusions that near-Earth space is the object of environmental law. Based on thorough investigation of legal, environmental and technical features, the sense of terminology used in the examined field were identified. The author presents her definitions of near-Earth space, littering, space object and space debris. Their correlations were also examined.
