Lastovych D. Administrative and Legal Principles of Providing Police Services in Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to the analysis of the nature and characteristics of administrative and legal regulation of providing police services. The concept and nature of police services in Ukraine are determined. The place and significance of police services within the activities of the National Police are characterized. Administrative and legal status of the police as a subject of providing police services is determined. Legal basis of providing police services in Ukraine and the place of administrative and legal regulation among them are defined. Propositions and recommendations aimed at improving the administrative legislation regulating the provision of police services are provided. Considering the national and international experience the author formulates propositions to improve the provision of police services. Administrative and legal forms of evaluating the efficiency of police services' provision are analyzed.
