Pyzhyanova N. The development of performing choral folklore in Cherkasy region on the example of Ohmativsky choir P. Demutsky.

The thesis was focused on the phenomenon of the performing choir folkloryzm in Cherkasy region in the late 19th - early 20th century on the example of creative activity of P. Demutsky and Ohmativ choir experience. It was stated that the phenomenon of performing choral folkloryzm is a representation of living ethnotraditional intoning in chorus activity; and there is the process of implementation of ethnic singing tradition organized by groups of singers in concert and theatrical conditions by intonation and expressive artistic means, reproducing ethnospecific model. The main directions of choral performance development in the region had been revealed. The following specificity was determined: the attention is focused on the fact that this area has two parallel traditions - supporting voice and polyphonic, and canticle.
