The thesis can be traced trends of intersection of China and the European musical and cultural traditions with access to the specifics of children's preferences in music, European and Chinese authors. Cycles of C. Debussy, S. Scott, V. Rebikov, S.Prokofiev, V. Kosenko, Bart?k, Y. Constantinidis, Tan Dun were written for children and about children, were the subject of analysis. They show the complex relationships relevant alternatives "about children" - "for the children", and in some cases openly combining certain indicators. Perhaps only the composition V. Kosenko and Ding Shande and some other Chinese authors uncompromisingly recovered the idea of "music for children."
