The theoretical propositions, methodological and practical aspects of the mechanism of management of production potential of enterprises in the conditions of risk are developed in this dissertation. The indicators that determine the level of management of production potential of the company and characterize the activity of the enterprise proposed to be used, covering the financial, labor, technological, and raw material, information and innovation potential of the enterprise. Structurally-logic scheme of management of production potential of machine-building enterprises in the conditions of risk which includes functions, forms, methods, tools, levers are developed in this thesis. The gradual process of the risk management potential of the enterprise conducted on the basis of a comprehensive analysis and researched the engineering enterprise. The influence of the level of risk, methods of neutralizing the risk level, the sequence of the strategic management of the production potential of the enterprise and formation of the strategy in terms of risk are indicated in this study.
