Essay

The object of the study is the processes of propagation and scattering of radiowaves in inhomogeneous atmosphere. Objective of the study is the development of radiophysical methods for monitoring and diagnostics of atmospheric processes with the help of GNSS-signals. Results: new methods for remote sensing of the troposphere and underlying surface have been developed, a new techinique for describing of the coefficient of tropospheric refraction using semi-Markov processes and atomic function has been developed, and new methods for improving the accuracy of GNSS measurements have been developed. The appliction areas are radiophysics and troposphere physics.
