Daniel A. Use of online media evidence in the investigation of criminal offenses

Based on the conducted research, the dissertation contains elaborated theoretical insights and operational recommendations regarding use of online media evidence in the investigation of criminal offenses. The following challenges are met: it reveals the historiography of the problem research; it sums up the concept and makes a classification of the means of online media, the capabilities of which should be used in the process of investigation of criminal offenses; it describes the interaction between the authorities of prejudicial inquiry and online media during the investigation of criminal offenses and highlights the most effective forms of such interaction.
