Essay

Оbject - agrochemical as well as physical and chemical processes observed in the dark gray bleached soil under the influence of spring barley fertilization systems; the processes of growth, development and formation of spring barley productivity depending on the introduced mineral fertilizers and foliage application with organic fertilizers on the dark gray bleached soil in the Western Forest Steppe of Ukraine. Purpose - to substantiate and provide agrochemical evaluation of fertilization systems and define its influence on agrochemical parameters of the dark gray bleached soil in the Western Forest Steppe of Ukraine and the productivity and quality of spring barley grain. Methods - field, laboratory, statistical, settlement and comparative methods. Theoretical results - to scientifically prove the feasibility of spring barley foliage application with organic fertilizers containing micronutrients on the background of mineral fertilizers on the dark gray bleached soil. It was established that the increase in the standards of mineral fertilizers leads to higher contents of mineral nutrition elements in the soil due to greater amount of its receipt. It was proved that as a result of mineral fertilizers introduction and spring barley foliage application with organic fertilizers, the processes of its growth and development are enhanced, the parameters of yield formula elements are improved and, consequently, the productivity increases as the grain quality improves. Practical results - the spring barley fertilization system was developed with the establishment of optimal standard of mineral fertilizers and foliage application with organic fertilizers on its background. It provides the growth of agrochemical characteristics of the soil, increase in productivity and grain quality parameters. The economic and energy feasibility of its implementation was substantiated. On the basis of certain provisions of the thesis research the scientific and practical recommendations, "Application of Organic Preparations in Spring Barley Cultivation Technology", were developed. Novelty - it is first time when under the conditions of the dark gray bleached soil of the Western Forest Steppe of Ukraine the spring barley foliage application with organic fertilizers containing micronutrients on the background of mineral fertilizers was grounded, the results obtained prove favourable conditions for mineral nutrition and provide high levels of stable productivity with optimal grain quality parameters; given current agricultural chemical evaluation of fertilizing systems of spring barley with the use of foliar fertilizers organic origin in different agrofons. There was also provided an agrochemical evaluation of modern spring barley fertilization systems with the establishment of optimal standard of mineral fertilizers and foliage application with the organic fertilizers ensuring the improvement of agrochemical, physical and chemical parameters of the dark gray bleached soil and promoting the increase in productivity of spring barley agrophytocenosis and improvement of the harvest quality. The issue concerning the foliage application with organic fertilizers in crops of spring barley on different backgrounds of mineral nutrition was further developed. Degree of application - the main results of the studies were introduced in Zhovkivskyi Plemptakhoreproduktor LLC (Mervychi Village, Zhovkva District, Lviv Region) on the area of 87 ha and Kraiany Agricultural LLC (Volia Vysotska Village, Zhovkva District, Lviv Region) on the area of 30 ha, as well as into the educational process of the Lviv National Agrarian University at the time of teaching the following academic disciplines: Pedology with the Fundamentals of Geology, Agricultural Chemistry, and Modern Agricultural Technologies for the Agronomics Faculty Bachelor's and Master's degree students. The field is agriculture.
