The thesis is dedicated to the urgent issue in modern pediatrics: improving the efficiency of prevention of vertical transmission of the HIV-infection from mother to child and assessement in forecasting development of the diseases in HIV-infected children, by studying the characteristics of their clinical course. The work presents the results of a comprehensive clinical, biochemical and immunological examination of children with prenatal HIV exposure.
