The thesis deals with the essence and significance of production services in agriculture and their classification. The preconditions for formation and development of the market of production services in agriculture were described. The state of the market of agricultural production services in Lviv region has been analysed and the efficiency of the activity of agricultural enterprises on the market of production services has been assessed. The proposals concerning the improvement of the activity of agricultural enterprises on the market of production services in the context of forming conceptual foundations for further organization of the activity of enterprises in agricultural sector and the information and analytical support for their activity have been submitted. The planning technique for the activity of agricultural enterprises on the market of production services and the methods of formation of prices for mechanized agricultural production services have been offered. The measures for legalization of shadow market of agricultural production services were based.
