Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the famous novel of French novelist Marcel Proust (1871-1922) "In Search of Lost Time" ("A la recherche du temps perdu"). Novel was published between 1913 and 1927. It consists of seven volumes totaling around 3200 pages and featuring more than 2000 characters. Music has an important dramatic and meaningful role in this work. Thesis analyses M. Proust's music, described in the novels.
