Essay

Object of research: the process of diamond-spark grinding of super-hard instrumental materials. Purpose: to ensure the quality of two-layer diamond plates of the brand ATPM with diamond-spark grinding due to the formation of a stable relief of the cutting surface of the circle, which is estimated by the reduced profile. Research methods. The work was performed on the basis of theoretical and experimental studies of grinding processes using the provisions of the theory of cutting materials, technology engineering, solid state physics. Experimental studies were carried out using the theory of mathematical planning of experiments and statistical processing of data, modern research and industrial equipment. The reliability of the theoretical positions of work is confirmed by the results of experimental research and practice of industrial implementation. Theoretical and practical results: for the new instrumental material of APPM plates, conditions have been established that provide effective treatment and surface quality at diamond-spark grinding; Dependences were found on which conditions of processing superhard materials, which provide the given quality of a surface, can be assigned; An application was submitted and a conclusion on the issuance of a declarative patent was issued: "A method for determining the optimal treatment for diamond polishing diamond polycrystals" (application No. u 2017 00056); Practically realized the estimation of the quality of processing in the relationship of surface roughness characteristics with the wear resistance of cutting tools, which makes it possible to estimate the total total technological cost, that is, to make a quality assessment in value terms. Novelty: the theoretical model of formation of the profile of the treated surface was further developed on the basis of the use of a reduced and stable diamond-spark grinding profile of the cutting surface of the circle in relation to the processing of superhard materials for the possibility of analyzing the potential quality (roughness) of the treated surfaces; For the first time, the characteristics of the reduced profile of the working surface of the circle (roughness of the replica and average deviation) and their correlation with roughness and mean square deviation of the surface to be processed for superhard materials were first established; On the basis of stability tests the optimal values ??of grinding modes of the blade tool are provided, providing the least value of technological cost to the consumer. It has been determined that despite higher values ??of the cost price of grinding in the finishing modes of processing APPM plates, qualitative indicators provide a high stability of polished tools, and have a major impact on the reduction of the total technological cost. Degree of implementation of the results: the results of the work were introduced into production at: IPMash of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, (Kharkоv); State Enterprise Plant "Electrotyazhmash" (Kharkоv); JSC "HARP" (Kharkov). Scope of use: machine building and tool industry.
