Krasnyanska L. Immunocorrection in combination treatment of patients with external genital endometriosis

The thesis is devoted to improving efficiency of external genital endometriosis treatment by use of low-molecular-weight metabolic immune response modifier 5-amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrophthalazine-1,4-dione of sodium salt in combination treatment. Low-molecular-weight metabolic immune response modifier has been proven to be efficient in an experiment on female rats, which is shown in noticeable regression of glandular structures and reducing their proliferative activity, normalization of the estrous cycle, and changing the number of immune cells in the peritoneal fluid of experimental animals. 66 female patients of childbearing age diagnosed with external endometriosis took part in clinical research and were divided into two representative groups. Including low-molecular-weight metabolic immune response modifier 5-amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrophthalazine-1,4-dione sodium salt in complex treatment of external genital endometriosis provides efficient restoration of menstrual cycle, reduces manifestation of pain syndrome and frequency of relapse of disease appearrence, which noticeably influences quality of life. Proposed metod of treatment promotes restoration of fertile function in 50 % women with external genital endometriosis during first year of treatment.
