Essay

Thesis deals with the theoretical and practical aspects of social rights in the system of human rights and their legal interrelation with international legal standards of social security. The theoretical results of the study are to substantiate the notion of international legal standards of social security as a set of legal norms enshrined in international instruments that determine social security rights. Bringing national legislation into line with generally accepted international legal standards of human rights – one of the priorities of the Ukrainian state. International human rights standards are considered criteria which must comply with relevant legislation and legal practice of all States of the international community. The development of international relations is to change the boundaries of domestic jurisdiction of states that set themselves beyond such restrictions, passing a number of questions to the conduct of international regulation. Social rights is an essential part of the generally recognized principles and norms of international law and national law define the scope of social security. The purpose of the national social legislation should consider establishing national standards and guarantees social rights in compliance with international legal standards of social security.
