Object of research: geese of Obroshyne breed group, broiler chickens of Cobb-500 cross, geese incubation eggs, meat of broiler chickens. The aim of the research: to establish an effective quantity of the feed additive "Activio", which contains oil extracts of chili pepper, oregano, cinnamon and rosemary, as part of mixed fodder for the breed geese of Obroshyne breed group and to determine its influence on the egg productivity of geese, the quality of incubation eggs, hatchability and the viability of the obtained youngsters, as well as to study the impact of "Activio" additives to the mixed fodder on the efficiency of growing of broiler chickens, their maintenance and the quality of obtained meat. The research methods are zootechnical, morphometric, chemical and statistical-analytical ones. Scientific novelty: for the first time, an effective quantity of the feed additive "Activio" has been established in the composition of mixed fodder for geese and broiler chickens. The influence of this feed additive on egg-laying, morphometric indices of incubation eggs, the content of total lipids and their classes, vitamin A and carotenoids in yolk of incubation eggs and for broiler chickens- on the increase of their live weight, maintenance of chickens, yield of eatable parts of the carcass, caloric value of carcasses and quality of meat were investigated. The degree of introduction: To increase the egg productivity of geese and improve the incubation qualities of eggs and improve the quality of carcasses during fattening broiler chickens, we recommend adding 100 grams of feed additive "Activio" per 1 ton of mixed fodder. Application area: poultry farms of various organizational and legal forms.
