Bondar S. Evaluation of milk production characteristics of the formation of herds of cattle of different breeds

The thesis presents the results of research of evaluation the process of formation of milk production of herd breeding Ukrainian Red Milk, Ukrainian Red-spotted Milk and Ukrainian Black spotted Milk breeds. It was found that improve the genetic potential of animals of different species is due to the use of the genefund of Holstein breed. By comparative analysis level of development of the productive characteristics defined the degree of realization of hereditary potential in the mother and daughter generations. By the combined display of signs and codes of adaptation in animals adjacent generations assessed suitability of different breeds of dairy cattle to the conditions of the existing environment. It was found the changes in group structure of danghter generation of each species studied, which took place under the influence of bull-sires of Holstein breed of different categories of breeding values by combined characteristics. It was found the character of inheritance productivity signs and reproductive ability of offspring of Holstein bulls that were used in the mather stock of various breeds. It was proved the results of linear breeding and appreciated the intensity and efficiency of breeding conversion in the process of formation milk in production in cattle herd.
