Systemic approach to economy as an object of study has a number of significant advantages vis-?-vis other methods. It enables identification of the whole set of interacting elements of an economic mechanism in their entirety and mutual inter-conditionality, and at the same time understanding of the real place and significance of every component of the system in the structural hierarchy. Having analyzed all main areas of activity of the construction company, the author has arrived at the conclusion that the company's effectiveness must be considered via the prism of management of the company's profitability with obligatory use of the systemic approach's basics. Optimization of institutional interaction of the domestic market of investment sources and the system of regulatory framework (contractual obligations) require improvement, and must be continuously improved and developed. Therefore, identification of the most significant problems and deficiencies in the process of interaction, historical and objective preconditions for this state of affairs is the first important step on the way of developing efficient measures and mechanisms necessary at this stage of development of the contemporary enterprise and of the government regulation system. Therefore, in accordance with the purpose and objectives of this practical research work, it was proved that the cost in construction is one of the most well-known, variable and significant problems, which was addressed in works of various economists, mangers and construction specialists, but even today, this problem remains contemporary, important and decisive. This work proves the need for and expediency of introducing the term "construction product", which would enable systemic classification of the notion of cost in construction, grouping of its components and definition of economic interdependence between profit and contractual obligations. A logistical methodology was proposed in accordance with theoretical generalizations and methodological clarifications, which enables, on the basis of specific tools of the sectoral theory of "geometric econometrics", systemic determination of the optimal apparatus for the increase of construction company's competitiveness for the purpose of gaining international markets. Further research is aimed at implementation of this apparatus in construction practice, in particular, of economic-mathematical models depending on target functions of optimization of the construction company's profitability. The following economic models of calculating construction product's cost have been proposed and implemented in construction practice: "classical model", "FIDIC model" and "norm-economic effect model", which, unlike the existing models, implement a mechanism of managing the construction company's profitability via the cost of construction product, which is determinant for the particular company.
