Object - processes of formation and use of intellectual capital of forest enterprises and woodworking enterprises. The goal to develop theoretical and methodological principles and practical approaches to the formation and use of intellectual capital of forest enterprises and wood-processing enterprises in the context of the growth of their total value. Methods - comparative and statistical analyzes, method of logical generalization, system-structural and multivariate analysis, methods of graphic and economic-mathematical simulations, method of expert evaluations, index method and group method. Results - generalization of theoretical foundations and the development of methodological approaches to the formation and use of intellectual capital of the enterprise in the context of the growth of the value of the enterprise. Novelty - improved: theoretical and methodical approach to the definition of structural components of the intellectual capital of the enterprise, which takes into account the factors of the external and internal environment of the functioning of the enterprise; interpretation of the indicator methodology for assessing the intellectual capital of a forestry and wood processing enterprise, which is developed on the basis of the use of key indicators characterizing the degree of human, structural and market capital use; methodical approach to the increase of the value of forest enterprises and woodworking enterprises on the basis of increase of their intellectual capital with application of economic-mathematical modeling; has further developed: the theoretical foundations of the concept of "intellectual capital"; theoretical and methodical approaches to the estimation of intellectual capital of the enterprise; the order of analytical estimation of intellectual capital of enterprises; theoretical principles of the formation and implementation of the system of strategic management of intellectual capital of enterprises; strategic guidelines for the formation of intellectual capital of enterprises.Implemented in the activities of the LLC "Classic", LLC "BRW-Ukraine", SE "Specialized Forestry Agricultural Enterprise" Lokachiagrolis", PE "Furniture Factory "Nova" and in the educational process of the Ternopil National Economic University.
