Lopata O. International cooperation of the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

The dissertation highlights the international cooperation of the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The concept, the task of forensic expert activity of the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine are disclosed. The legal bases, directions, levels and forms of realization of international cooperation, the content of international cooperation with the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI) are determined. The forensic expert activity of the states of the European Union, cooperation of the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Ukrainian bureau of Interpol were characterized. The ways of directing to attract better experience are outlined. Conducting forensic examination in the order of international legal assistance is highlighted. The proposals on the improvement of legislation and practice of its application have been developed.
