Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the study of lingual, linguo-cultural and linguo-pragmatic parameters of new English vocabulary in sport and tourism. As a result of the study, it has been disclosed that the most active ways of forming new lexical units are affixation, composition, blending and abbreviation. Lexical and phraseological innovations of sport and tourism have been studied from the point of view of linguistic pragmatics and have been interpreted within the framework of speech. The analysis of the speech acts has allowed to single out the national and cultural features of the native speakers.
