Essay

Object of research: the process of formation of the food system of Ukraine in the conditions of globalization in order to increase its efficiency. Purpose: to substantiate the scientific principles and effective mechanisms of forming the food system of Ukraine in the conditions of globalization. Methods of research: theoretical knowledge, monographic, abstract-logical, systematization, classification, economic-mathematical, statistical-economic, statistical groupings, graphic. Scientific novelty: for the first time, the methodical principles of organizational and economic provision of efficient development and functioning of the food system have been developed; methodological approaches to the development of mechanisms of state agricultural policy on the basis of the concept "food system", the essence of the concept "food system", methodical approaches to the development and selection of mechanisms of state agricultural policy; received further development of application of deregulation measures and improvement of regulatory and legal support for the development of the food system, determination of the efficiency of the functioning of the food system, justification of the strategic priorities for ensuring the competitiveness of the food system and the production of agrarian products.
