Mersni A. Models and method of load balancing in telecommunication networks for solving problems of routing and resource reservation

Object - processes of routing and reservation of network resources with load balancing in telecommunication networks. Purpose - improving the quality of service in telecommunication networks based on the improvement of load balancing processes. Methods - graph theory, set theory, methods of mathematical programming, theory of optimal hierarchical multilevel systems. Results - further development of the flow-based multicast routing model in the telecommunication network; multipath multicast routing method was firstly proposed; further development of the mathematical model of routing multicast flows in the direction of supporting the shared explicit reservation of the link resource; the load balancing model for multipath routing in telecommunication networks with heterogeneous architecture has been improved. It is implemented - in the educational process of the Department of Information systems of the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute".
