Sarzhevsky A. Optimization of surgical treatment of cataract complicated by lens subluxation

Thesis is devoted to the problem of increasing the efficiency of cataract phacoemulsification that is complicated by lens subluxations. Scientific data on the сlinical diagnostic signs of lens subluxations was supplemented and their frequency and correlation copulas were defined. It was established for the first time that appearance of dye remains in anterior chamber after its washing can be considered as the additional criterion of lens subluxations. It was supplemented the scientific information about morphometric parameters changes of the anterior eye segment and their correlations at lens subluxation. It was extended the scientific ideas about the state of intraocular liquid outflow in eyes with lens subluxations. Scientific data about influence of technological terms on operation process was specified. The new method of stabilizing of capsular bag was worked out. One end of capsule ring was injected on the circle from the opposite side of maximal damage of the zonular defect. Trailing end of the device is placed on the iris or remains outside port. For the first time it was established the application of the complex surgical program at cataract phacoemulsification on eyes with lens subluxations, that includes the correction of eye hydrodynamics, intraoperative technique and postoperative monitoring and reduces the amount of complications in 4,34 times as compared to control.
