The dissertation is devoted to the study of virtual as a concept, which is widespread in modern musicology, but also that which is still in the process of formation, the state of semantic uncertainty. The structure of the concept is organized around the value of the possible, which under certain circumstances can manifest itself, in the form of a conceptual system consisting of three elements - virtual technological, virtual ontological, virtual cognitive.
