Essay

This research focuses on the structure of the magnetic fluid at interface with solids. Main attention was paid to identify the relationship between parameters of magnetic liquid system (MFS) and its adsorption properties. The structure of adsorbed nanolayers on the border MFS-silicon for polar and nonpolar MFS. It is shown that both polar and nonpolar MFS at interface MFS-silicon division formed a monolayer composed of single magnetic particles. The change of structural parameters of the adsorbed layer from the concentration of magnetic particles. Showing the relationship between three-dimensional structure and adsorption properties of the modified polyethylene MFS. Studied that the chemical composition of the magnetic liquid system or type of stabilization does not change the adsorption properties. The influence of an external magnetic field to organize the particles in the vicinity of the free surface and the silicon surface.
