Thesis dedicated to studying the exterior of animals Sumy Ukrainian interbreed type of Black-and-White Dairy breed using traditional (instrumental) method of as-sessment and modern (visual) linear classification methods. Concerning to the con-cept of the desired type were developed age parameters of linear growth and weight gain for repair heifers that allow to control the process of their growing. The degree of variability and heritability measurements of body points that characterize cows body structure and udder found relationship of exterior traits with milk yield and the degree of influence on their growth genotypic factors.
