Falatiuk O. Administrative-legal provision of cargo transportation by road in Ukraine

The paper analyzes the state of the administrative and legal provision of transportation of goods by road in Ukraine, examines the concepts and types of such transportation, examines the legal status of the subjects of administrative and legal provision of transportation of goods by road, legal relations arising during transportation and conditions for the carriage of goods by road, The main directions and forms of implementation of state control and ways of improvement of administrative and legal regulation in the field of transportation in road transport by road. According to the results of the research, a number of scientific concepts and categories have been determined, proposals have been formulated for improving the administrative and legal provision of transportation of goods by motor transport in Ukraine, which are distinguished by their novelty, in particular: the definition of road freight transportation is given; measures were proposed: on improvement of regulatory and organizational support for the transportation of goods by road, development of transport and forwarding activities for the provision of transportation services by road, improvement of the system of tariff and tax regulation of activity of road freight carriers, improvement the level of cargo transportation security, measures for the gradual integration of Ukraine into the European and world transport systems; justified the need: equipment of vehicles for the transportation of goods by modern computer systems, speed limit devices, introduction of automated electronic systems for planning orders for carriage of goods by road, improvement of logistics, development and approval of the Concept for the development of the motor transport industry, streamlining of the provision of permits to carriers, the reform of voluntary associations of international carriers of Ukraine, updating of trucks that would correspond to the level of environmental safety of EURO-3, EURO-4 and EURO-5, etc.
