Prytula L. Labor productivity and ways to increase it at industrial enterprises

The thesis researches into the problem of methodological, scientific and practical support for increased workplace productivity at modern enterprises. It includes analysis of key labor productivity features and factors that contribute to its increase. The paper also presents a general classification of labor productivity types, studies the existing methods used by national and international economists to calculate and assess productivity. The thesis identifies main evolution stages and basic principles of workplace productivity management, researches into essential methods and means of increasing workplace productivity used in the national and international practice. It is determined that while the same means can be used for both aggregate and individual labor productivity, the methods of increasing productivity are different and type-specific.
