Strizhakova A. Mechanisms of state management of development of cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and countries of the European Union

The object of there research - mechanisms of state management of cross-border cooperation. The purpose of the study rationale of scientifically-methodical bases of perfection of mechanisms of state control development of cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and EU countries and development of practical recommendations for activities of state administration bodies and local self-government to strengthen the effectiveness of CBC, for effective socio-economic development of border areas, intensification of integration processes of the EU - Ukraine, the implementation of the Association Agreement. Methods of research - analysis; synthesis; generalization; abstract-logical method; system approach; structural-functional approach, comparative. Practical significance of the obtained results: scientific insights and theoretical principles of the dissertation research is actually brought to the level of concrete proposals and practical recommendations for use in the practice of public administration in the sphere of cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and EU countries. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is to substantiation and development of scientific-methodical bases and practical recommendations concerning improvement of mechanisms of state control development of cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and EU countries in the conditions of strengthening of Eurointegration processes of transformation of socio-economic development of Ukraine and implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. Improved regulatory mechanism of state management of development of cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and EU countries through the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to the norms of European law, development of new regulatory legal acts in the context of the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, determining the powers and responsibilities of authorities of different levels for the development of CBC, taking into account the decentralization and principle of subsidiarity. Got further development of the study of the European experience in the management of cross-border cooperation and possibilities of its adaptation in Ukraine; investigation of the mechanism of state support of Euroregions; rationale for further development of twinning and partnership relations between the cities and regions of Ukraine and EU countries; support of innovative forms of cross-border cooperation.
