Object of research: Electric power processes in the system "wind turbine - induction generator - consumer". Objective: Determine rational operation modes of stand-alone wind turbine with induction generator in the meteorological conditions of Ecuador. Methods of research: queuing theory, mathematical methods, simulation and physical modeling in the analysis and synthesis of autonomous wind turbines. Theoretical and practical results. Innovations: developed the method and determined wind energy potential of the Republic of Ecuador for the use of stand-alone wind power plants; the method is developed on the basis of simulation modeling of wind-power stand-alone installations with induction generator for determining the modes of its operation at steady and variable wind speeds; A method based on simulation modeling is developed the stand-alone wind turbine installations with an induction generator for determining the modes of its operation using a pulse converter for charging batteries; for the first time, a scientifically based assessment of the wind energy potential of the Republic of Ecuador was made, which made it possible to identify those mountain regions of the country in which most promising location of wind power stand-alone installations; Got a further developed a scientific approach for determining the operating modes of stand-alone wind turbines with induction generator by varying frequency rotation of the wind turbine rotor and load parameters based on simulation modeling, which, unlike the known, allows getting parameters of the system in the conditions of its stability; Got a further development of scientific approach determination of operating modes of stand-alone wind power plants with an induction generator by varying the frequency rotation of a wind turbine rotor based on simulation modeling using a pulse converter for charging batteries, which, unlike the known, allows obtaining the parameters of the system in the conditions of its stability. Subject and the degree of implementation: research results are used in the Institute of Renewable Energy of the National Academy of Sciences for implementing research work and in the educational process and scientific research of the department of power supply ERI of Energetics, Automation and Energy Efficiency of NUBiP of Ukraine. Implementation efficiency: state - determination of the operating modes of a stand-alone wind power plant with induction generator to get the most efficient operation of the wind turbine in conditions of its stability, which allows to increase the level of electrical supply for consumer and can speed up the electrification of Ecuador under the state plan electrification 2022 year. Utilization field: scientists and organizations that take part in the develop of the wind energy.
