Onopriienko S. Legal support of information culture in Ukrain

The thesis contains a theoretical generalization and a new solution to the scientific problem - the definition of the essence and features of the legal provision of information culture in Ukraine. The author's definition of the concept of information culture is formulated, the classification of its elements according to the content, subject and object attributes is offered, their сharacteristic is presented. It is substantiated that the principles of the formation of information culture include: the principles of transparency, scientific, continuity, purposefulness, tolerance, priority of free development of the individual. Legal means of information culture are described as a system of legal phenomena of an instrumental nature, with the help of which the subjects of the formation of the information culture achieve their goals; it proves the existence of gaps related to the creation of a legal model for the desired behavior of subjects of information relations.
