Object of research - metastatic defeat of long limb bones in patients with malignant tumors; the goal is to improve the treatment efficiency and quality of life of patients with metastatic lesions of long limb bones by developing a differentiated approach to the choice of therapeutic tactics; methods - clinical, laboratory, radiological, radiological, experimental morphological, statistical; novelty and results - improved approaches to the diagnostic examination of patients with malignant tumors with suspicion of metastatic bone defeat; methodological principles of distribution of patients with metastatic lesions of long limb bones in clinical groups were developed, which allowed to substantiate clear indications for a certain type of treatment and determined the rational tactics of therapeutic measures; for the first time, based on experimental morphological studies, it has been shown that there is no reaction of the soft tissues surrounding the tumor of the bone and visceral organs on metal-polymer and carbon-carbon materials, which allowed them to be used as an implantation material in the surgical treatment of metastatic bone tumors; improved intraocular regimen cytostatic drugs in the preoperative period, which increased the efficiency of surgical treatment and improved postoperative outcome of treatment and survival of patients; it is proved that application of the developed methods of surgical replacement of the defects of long limb bones in patients with metastatic lesion can improve the quality of life of the patient by preserving the limb and its function, which positively affects the social and psychological adaptation of the patient in the postoperative period; implemented in clinical practice of the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics and the Department of Surgery, Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Therapy of Postgraduate Education at the National Medical University named after.
