Essay

The dissertation is devoted to efficacy increase of patient's treatment and ocular prosthetics after eye removing by the advances in method of the supporting-moving stump formation (Patent of Ukraine № 98988 10.07.2012). New technique of hemostasis with previous ligation of the optic nerve and vascular bundle allows to decrease the frequency of intraoperative and postoperative hemorrhagic complications on 16,5%. Proposed surgical technique of eyeball evisceroenucleation reduces the total complications level on the 24,2%; elevates the support-motor stump motility (total volume of movements increase on 11% for stump with closed cornea and on 22% for stump with open cornea) and improves cosmetic results of ocular prosthetics by increasing of the prosthetic motility (on 18,6% in patients used the cosmetic shell and on 91,5% in patients used the cosmetic contact lenses).
