The theoretical and practical aspects of criminal procedural liability under the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine of 2012 were comprehensively researched in the thesis. The definition, features and meaning of criminal procedural liability were determined. The types and system of measures of criminal procedural liability were researched. The grounds and conditions of application of criminal procedural liability were defined and the procedural order of bringing to criminal procedural liability was considered. The tendencies of development of the institute of criminal procedural liability were determined and scientifically substantiated proposals on improvement of the legislation of Ukraine in the area of application of criminal procedural liability were formulated.
