Essay

The object of the research is the process of promotion of grouped trains of operational purpose. The study was carried out using mathematical statistics, graph theory, evolutionary methods, in particular the genetic algorithm. As a result of the research, a complex mathematical model was developed that determined the optimal mode of organization of operation with group trains in space and time The sphere of application of the obtained results is the branch of management of freight carriages on the railways of Ukraine.
