Essay

The object of the study is the localization of plastic deformation in the form of a strip of displacement and the formation of a neck of limited length. The purpose of the study is to investigate the phenomenon of localization of plastic deformation in the form of a limited band gap of displacements or velocities. Research methods and equipment - analytical solution of problems of the theory of plasticity for bodies with disruptions of displacements or their velocities, taking into account strain laws for complex loading. Theoretical and practical results are the development of solutions to the problem of localization of plastic deformation in the form of strips of displacement or the formation of a neck of limited length. Novelty of the newly introduced - the generalization of Novozhilov's approach to localization of plastic deformation for materials with a shelf of fluidity is proposed; the localization of plastic deformation in the form of a strip of displacement of a limited length for materials with a shelf of fluidity was investigated; the localization was studied in the form of a periodic system of shift bands; solution was obtained for localization of plastic deformation in the form of neck formation; the solution of the problem of localization of plastic deformation of reinforced material in the form of shear and the formation of a limited length neck was constructed. The degree of implementation is used in the educational process of the Dnipro National University named after Oles Gonchar during the teaching of the disciplines "Theory of plasticity" and "The basics of the theory of strength". Scope of use - the results of work can be used to describe the behavior of a number of materials in the construction, engineering, metallurgy, etc.
