The work is devoted to solving of theoretical and practical issues related to ensuring of rights and legal interests of persons in the process of interrogation during the pre-trial investigation. The main scientific approaches to the definition of the interrogation are studied and the authorial understanding of the objective of this investigative action is formulated. According to the new legislative approaches to the regulation of the order of testimonies receiving, the classification of interrogation is carried out. The essence and the structural elements of the mechanism of rights and legal interests of persons in the process of interrogation during the pre-trial investigation are clarified. The features of the ensuring of rights and legal interests of the juvenile participants of the criminal proceedings; synchronous interrogation of two or more persons to find out of the reasons for the differences in their testimonies are determined. The problem aspects of the ensuring of rights and legal interests during the using of particular methods of the interrogation are clarified. Based on the conducted research and generalization of enforcement practices were found deficiencies of legal regulation the process of the interrogation and formulated scientifically based proposals aimed at improving the current criminal procedural legislation.
