Yampolska K. Peculiarities of diagnosis and treatment of children with chronic tonsillitis andconcomitant pathology of the dentoalveolar system

The thesis is devoted to the problem of increasing the effectiveness of treatment of children of primary school age with chronic tonsillitis and accompanying caries of teeth. Examination of 108 patients with this pathology, by using clinical-laboratory-instrumental methods there were established the features of the clinical course, changes in microbiological status, and assessed the state of local immunity factors. Dynamic changes of these indices in children with different course of chronic tonsillitis under the influence of traditional conservative therapy of tonsillitis and tooth decay were established. As well as the most significant criteria of the slow flow fochronic tonsillitis were determined, which necessitates the consistent application of first non-specific immunomodulators, and then mucosal vaccines of local action. The high degree of efficacy of the proposed treatment regimen and the possibility of application in practice are shown.
