Improvement of the method of passenger car gearbox's bench testing, which differs from the existing ones by a new defining parameter of non-destructive control, based on measurements of the speed of the gearbox housing's heating in time, which allows to solve the urgent task of increasing the level of traffic safety due to the quality of functional diagnostics of gearboxes. Improvement of the method of calculating the net power of the gearbox's load, which is the metrological characteristic of the test bench, that differs by taking into account the presence of a drive with a frequency vector drive and its property of automatic voltage adaptation to the variations of the current load, which allowed to improve the accuracy of indirect measurements. Obtainment for the first time of the empirical criteria of the gearbox housing's heating speed in time parameter, which are used to assess the technical condition of the gearbox during bench testing, which allows to determine the quality of repairs carried out over a shorter period of time. Improvement of the method of measuring the radial runout of the gearbox housing, which is characterized by the way and algorithm of measurement that allows to eliminate the subject's impact on the quality of testing.
