The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of theoretical positions, development of scientific methodical approaches and practical recommendations on state regulation of investment processes in the agrarian sector of the national economy. The economic essence of the concept of "investment process" in the agrarian sector of the national economy is clarified. The classification of investments has been developed and complemented by such features: the degree of influence on investment security, degree of influence on competitiveness, depending on the state of the investment climate. The substantiation of the methodological provisions concerning monitoring and diagnostics of state regulation of investment processes in the agrarian sector of the national economy, consisting in the systematic combination of indicators characterizing the level of investment concentration and statistical analysis of their distribution in the agricultural sector.
