Thesis is devoted to the solving important scientific problem of the competitive status formation of the machine - building enterprises on the basis of the resource and activity approach. It is specified the economic essence of the concept "the enterprise competitive status". The theoretical and methodological positions for the level integral criterion of the machine-building enterprises competitive status on the basis of the resource-activity approach are developed. The indicators system for the evaluation of the machine-building enterprise competitive status was developed. The conceptual foundations of the competitive status formation of the machine-building enterprises on the basis of the resource-activity approach have been improved. The scientific-based approach to assessing the competitive status level of the machine-building enterprises based on the use of the criterial method of the selecting indicators was scientifically substantiated.
