Essay

The object of research is electromagnetic processes that arise when parallel operation of asynchronous and synchronous generators of the wind farm system. The purpose of the study is to determine the conditions for the stability of the loading regimes of a wind turbine plant with parallel operation of asynchronous and synchronous generators of comparable power. Methods of research - mathematical modeling, theoretical fundamentals of electrical engineering, electrical measurements and tests of electrical equipment, the theory of linear and nonlinear systems, the theory of automatic control and the operator method, simulation modeling. Novelty - the mathematical model of a wind turbine unit has been improved, which takes into account the variable rotational speed of the wind turbine rotor and load parameters on the basis of the Routh criterion, which made it possible to determine the nature of the course of dynamic processes that affect its stability; for the first time, through the structural simulation, the character of the dynamic processes of the wind farm installation was determined, which, unlike the known approaches, allowed to obtain the indices of these installations under conditions of their stability; reasonably by structural simulation and experimentally confirmed the nature of the change in the value of the capacitors of the excitation system at various wind speeds and loads, which made it possible to ensure the stability conditions of the wind turbine plant. Results - the structural schemes and the ratio of the parameters of the electrogenerating equipment of the wind-diesel system in the conditions of the stability of its operation by means of simulation modeling are determined; a technique for constructing a simulation model of a wind farm electrical system using the Matlab Simulink software package has been developed, which has made it possible to study the modes of its operation under constant and variable wind speeds; the results of the work were used in the implementation of research works at the Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on the topic "Development of mathematical models for forecasting and optimizing wind energy conversion processes in wind energy systems", the results of this work were used in the course "Wind Power Engineering" (National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute") and transferred for use in the educational process and scientific research of the Department of Power Supply named after prof. V.M. Sinkov, ERI of Energetics, Automation and Energy Efficiency of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
