The essence of the concepts of safety and quality of food products according to the legislation of Ukraine and the EU laws has been determined. The author has characterized administrative and legal norms, administrative and legal relations in the sphere of administrative and legal regulation of the safety and quality of food products. The author has grounded propositions on the improvement of the norms of administrative and legal acts regulating the safety and quality of food products.
