The dissertation is devoted to solving the problem of developing information technologies for building a fault tolerant sensor network based on the information-entropy method. The BPN algorithm is developed. The information technology of the basic placement of T-nodes is developed. The technique of optimization of the sensory network was developed for the purpose of maintenance of its structural reliability. To confirm the validity of the developed method, a scientific result was obtained that consists in improving the methodology for estimating the total operating time of the sensor network using the simulation procedure. In this paper, the information-entropy method of determining the required minimum number of control information in the sensor network is presented. The conducted researches and presented developments have become the basis for information technology in building a fault tolerant structure of the sensor network, which provides the requirements for its connectivity and structural energy efficiency.
