Object - the process of development of the potential of organizational and resource supply of the machine-building complex in the context of creating the basis for innovation modernization of the Ukrainian economy. Goal - improvement of theoretical fundamentals and the development of practical recommendations for ensuring the development of the potential of organizational and resource supply of the machine-building complex in the context of creating a basis for innovation modernization of the Ukrainian economy. Methods - comparative analysis, synthesis and graphing, grouping, morphological analysis, expert and calculation-analytical, abstraction and logical and functional analysis. Novelty - improved: conceptual provisions of the development of the potential of organizational and resource support for mechanical engineering; integrated approach to the formation of the environment for activating innovation activity and expanded reproduction of material and resource base of mechanical engineering, which consists in substantiating creation of the Center for development of the potential of organizational and resource support for mechanical engineering ; theoretical foundations of the development of the potential of organizational and resource support of the machine engineering complex due to the addition of the author's definition of the category "potential of organizational and resource supply of the machine-building complex" in terms of organizational and resource capabilities and competencies of the enterprises of mechanical engineering to provide production of high-tech; have been further developed:. the mechanism of state regulation of the development of the potential of organizational and resource support for mechanical engineering; systematization of the determinants of the potential development of the organizational and resource supply of the machine-building complex; methodical approach to the estimation of the potential level of organizational and resource support for enterprises of the machine-building complex.
