Essay

The clinical features of the HIV/TB/CHC coinfection, the biochemical activity of hepatitis and the severity of fibrotic changes in the liver were investigated during the study. The effectiveness of TB treatment in HIV/TB/CHC-coinfected patients compared to HIV/TB coinfected patients and its association with the timing of HAART was evaluated, the frequency of the development of the immune response recovery syndrome and the adverse reactions of the therapy were analyzed. The influence of various factors on the success of TB treatment, the risk factors of unsuccessful treatment of TB in patients coinfected with HIV/TB/CHC and risk factors of hepatotoxic reactions during treatment were determined.
