Essay

The thesis is devoted to development of technology basics of simultaneous obtaining of unsaturated carboxylic acids and their esters by combined condensation and esterification of carbonyl compounds in the gas phase on solid multicomponent catalysts. The highly efficient catalytic system В2O3-Р2O5-ZrO2 WO3/SiO2 for gas phase process combined condensation of methyl propionate, propionic acid with formaldehyde in the presence of methanol was established. It allows to get both target products at one stage and thus simplify the scheme of obtaining these substances from basic feedstock. The total selectivity of the formation of target products is 96,3 %. The best of developed catalytic system was also effective in the process of condensation of propionic acid and formaldehyde in the presence of methanol to form methyl methacrylate, methacrylic acid, metylpropionate and diethyl ketone. The total yield 37.4% of acrylates per single pass.
