Kovalenko-Marchenkova Y. Ensuring the competitiveness of the construction branch potential of Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological approaches and substantiation of practical recommendations for ensuring the competitiveness of the construction branch potential. The theoretical content of the concept of competitiveness of the construction branch potential is expanded. The classification of factors of competitiveness of the branch potential was supplemented by the classification mark «the direction of action». The sequence of ensuring the competitiveness of the construction branch potential is improved, it is complemented by the stage of strategic orientation and navigation. The approach to assessing the competitiveness of the construction branch potential is proposed, that is based on criteria of taking into account formation level and effectiveness of the potential usage. A list of evaluation indicators of formation and usage of the potential of the construction branch has been formed and the level of competitiveness of the potential of Ukrainian construction branch has been assessed. The methodical approach to the assessment of the influence of factors on the competitiveness of the construction branch potential and the forecasting of the value of the integral indicator of the construction branch potential while considering the sensitivity of the components to the influence of environmental factors has been developed. The system of ensuring the competitiveness of the construction branch potential is improved, and a three-component matrix for choosing a combined strategy for ensuring the competitiveness of the construction branch, which considers the achieved and forecasted level of competitiveness of the potential of the construction branch, as well as the level of risk of loss of the potential competitiveness, is constructed
