The Object: pedagogical technologies of teaching foreign languages to students in higher technical educational institutions. The aim: to determine, theoretically substantiate and experimentally test didactic conditions for the application of pedagogical technologies for teaching foreign languages to students in higher technical educational institutions. Practical significance: educational tools «English for Electrical Engineers» and «Pedagogical Technologies for Extracurricular Work in a Foreign Language in Higher Technical Educational Institutions» and an author's elective special course «Technical Translation» have been developed. Methods: theoretical; empirical; mathematical statistics.
